Choosing the right phones for your business

Having a full set of options is essential for your business to have the right phones for all roles. So we have designed our service to enable people to access software phones on mobile and Windows/Mac, as well as from a full range of office phones.

Don't be limited by services that want you to just use software phones. Physical phones are essential to operations in restaurants, warehouses, retail environments and for conference rooms, foyers, lifts and shared access wallphones.

A Versatile Approach

With the Versatility service option it is simple to ensure your company has the right phones and you don't have to pay extra service charges for when some users want more than one phone.

All Versatility users get CallStation mobile app access so they can work anywhere which is also good for business continuity. Users that do not need anything more can just use the mobile app. However, If you want to have physical office phones, you simply purchase them and users hotdesk on to them when needed. There is no monthly service charge for hotdesk office phones.

This goes the same for our CallStation desktop softphone. If users want this, a one-off purchase of the software is all that is required and again there is no additional monthly service charge.

Mobile and Desktop Software Phones

CallStation for Android, iPhone, Mac and Windows is for those that want to move away from desk phones and provides a way to do so. Zero configuration is required by the user as they login with their Voxhub account details.

CallStation gives users a way to take what would be their office extension for working on the move over WiFi and 4G/5G networks. It is easy to install and get up and running by simply logging in with your Voxhub user account details, meaning it can be rolled out to larger companies and teams with little effort.

Office Desk Phones

Desk phones are still preferred by many businesses as they often offer superior call quality and reliability, they are useful in places where there isn't a need for a computer

In an office environment the right selection of phone is essential. For heavy call handlers such as receptionists, sales and customer service teams, phones which have a larger display can be ideal as they let your users see more detail about each call.

Some desk phones can also have an additional console add to them allowing the user to quickly dial and transfer calls within the company. A console will also display the status of the contacts whether they are on the phone or available.

Portable DECT Phones

For many environments, portable phones are essential. In restaurants, warehouses and home offices. We supply a range of Yealink portables that have a choice of handsets for all workplaces.

These come with a base that provides the aerial and connection to the Internet via an Ethernet cable.

The handset and it's accompanying charger can be place anywhere within range of the base station.

For larger offices a range extender is available.

Meeting rooms and Conferencing

The majority of the desk phones we supply have perfectly adequate speaker phones for adhoc conferencing. However, nothing beats a dedicated conference phone in terms of improved quality and range of microphones.

Conference phones are perfect for use with the Voxhub conference service. From small meetings rooms to large board rooms there are models available to suit. With optional extended microphones to work with large conference tables.

The Polycom TRIO range of conference phones come with Bluetooth and USB to enable a wider range of conference services that work off desktop or mobile phones.
