If you wish to use the Voxhub service with connectivity that is not supplied by us or our network partners then here is an important checklist for you. This is generally only possible for home offices where it is overkill having a dedicated connection from us or for when we cannot supply a connection such as overseas / serviced offices.
| Connectivity Checklist | |
| Select a Reliable Provider | |
| Get a Static IP Address | |
| Use a Supported Router | |
| Check available capacity | |
| Use wired networking | |
| Use a dedicated connection for Voxhub service | |
We think it is worth avoiding free or budget ISPs for home connections where you want to use Voxhub. These ISP's have different priorities when delivering their service and whilst you may have a good experience with general Internet usage, voice is more sensitive to congestion and latency.
| Supported Routers | |
| Netgear DG834 models | |
| Draytek 2820 models | |
| Cisco 85X, 87X, 1841, 2811 models | |
These models of routers are supplied and supported by us. Whilst many other routers might be compatible with our service we can only guarantee those that we verify in our testing suite.
If you wish to use Voxhub over an existing high capacity leased line then this is entirely possible. We would however verify the connection with you before proceeding with the service.
Voxhub reserve the right to not provide service when the connectivity is not supplied by us and where the quality of service cannot be guaranteed.
